1800s Victorian Cuff Buttons - 1880s Wingback Style Cufflinks
Formal dress in the Victorian period was not much different than it is now. Instead of calling these cufflinks they were called cuff buttons. They were worn the same way in the same fashions.
This is a style you may not be used to. They have the wing-back mechanisms and will hold the flaps of your cuffs much tighter than normal. This set was made in the 1880s and will come to you in a two tone gold tone finish.
This set is gold filled. Wear on these would be indicative to their approximately 140 year old age. They would attach to cuffs the same as normal modern cufflink do.
