1880s Universal Button Stud - Taille Dépargne Design
Taille dépargne is so beautiful and this raised gold tone paisley display on this bachelor button is antique beautiful. This button was universal for either detachable collars, cuffs, or vest and lapel buttons. For being close to 150 years old, everything works just fine and the way it should.
The stud is a two-piece mechanism that comes apart by the tabs on the side. Some of these came with patent dates of 1879 and 1880s, you may or may not see it on this one. For being 145 years old, this button is in great usable or collectible condition.
