20th Century Watch Chain - 4g Signed R & F
Though the chain is doubled over and clipped to the sports ring, the larger ring does come off the sports ring for an overall length or single length chain. The chain doubled over is 10 1/2 inches.
The dog clip works but does not swivel, the sports ring works fine.
From end to end including the clips the chain is 10 1/2 inches as double strands.
This watch chain or vest chain as some will call it, would have been worn around the 1930s and 40s.
