We didn't notice the chip until the pictures were taken but it's there in the top right corner.
Here we have a very deep blue, faceted glass rhinestone, set in an antique cravat pin. At the time that these were marketed in catalogs they would have been called scarf or cravat pins. They didn't come with a clutch but did have the twisted stem to prevent backing out.
