Carved Green Jade Pendant - The Bat Hanging on to Peaches
When it comes to Jade some carvings have more captivation to them than others. What we see in this carving is a bat with a peach under each wing. They may also be gourds but it appears it has something under each wing so we're going with peaches as the most common. We believe this to be a classic Chinese symbol of good fortune and longevity. There's also a piercing at the top of the bat for a small cord or bale.
