Chinese Silver Koi Fish Brooch - Vintage Export Jewelry
Up for sale is a vintage Chinese gold gilt silver enameled koi fish brooch pin. It is an example of Chinese Export jewelry brought back to the United States all throughout the 20th century.
Made from silver, purity unknown to us as it's simply marked SILVER with a gold-gilt vermeil finish, only in some areas
The pin has a screen background mesh that has the cloisonné enamel koi fish and a small enamel flower
The eye is simply a red circle of enamel.
