Japanese Treasure Ship Cufflinks - Rare Carved Boat Cuff Links
We can go with two things on these cufflinks, rare and vintage. The only marks on them are the toggles that have silver and the sails that have the Kanji symbol for treasure 宝. We're not quite sure what these are card from but we do know that they are original and came out of a lot that had other pieces of jewelry from Japan. The back toggles are secured to the boats would slotted screws.
- They feature a green hull with and ivory-colored sail that has a red Chinese character symbol on it that translates to "treasure"
- The cufflinks are figural treasure or traditional junk vessels from 20th century Japan.
- The style is common the 1950s and1960s.
Thank you -
