Victorian Carved Cufflinks - Barbell Shape Mother of Pearl
One of the 4 sides does have a flat edge to it and we tried to show this in the pictures. It doesn't appear to have bearing on the wearability of the links.
These barbell or dumbbell hand carved mother of pearl solid link cufflinks are from the last half of the 19th century. They were predominantly worn up until the Edwardian period when many more options started appearing with the patents of the 1880s.
These links are solid, barbell in shape and beige in color. They look much better in person but don't carry that whiter sheen of mother of pearl shell. They may need to be cleaned if you wish to do so -
Thank you -
